Welcome to Kiernander! We’re a band based in Christchurch, Bournemouth, and Poole, passionate about rediscovering the soundtrack of the past. Specialising in popular but less-heard gems from the ’80s and ’90s, our mission is to unearth the great tracks that may have been forgotten—and breathe new life into them for today’s audiences.

From the haunting melodies of Joy Division and the indie charm of The Smiths to the anthemic sounds of Oasis and Primal Scream, we cover an eclectic mix of artists including Paul Weller, James, Fun Boy Three, The Stone Roses, Pulp, Ocean Colour Scene, R.E.M., The Charlatans, and Squeeze. Whether it’s evoking nostalgia or putting a fresh twist on classic tracks, we aim to deliver a setlist that sparks joy, stirs memories, and gets the crowd moving.
